Share of households buying fresh meal kits in the Netherlands 2017-2018
This statistic displays the share of households sometimes buying fresh meal kits in supermarkets in the Netherlands in 2017 and 2018. Fresh meal kits are boxes with the exact amount of vegetables for quick meals and are something different than, for example, meal boxes from Hello Fresh. In the 12 months leading up to the third quarter of 2017, just under 20 percent of the households in the Netherlands sometimes bought fresh meal kits in a supermarket. By the third quarter of 2018, this had increased to nearly 25 percent of the Dutch households.
